Postbank.gov.ph was commissioned by the Philippine Postal Savings Bank in 2013. The Philippine Postal Savings Bank is a government thrift bank created with a special mission to encourage savings and provide access to financial credit to the ‘unbanked’ areas of the country.
It has since been renamed to Overseas Filipino Bank.
The site Features a rotating banner featuring selected news items and a mobile first responsive theme. Different content types ie., Job Openings, Invitations to bid, News articles, Items for sale, Branch news, etc.
The site was made in Drupal 7 and is fully automated. It is administered by a Graphics Artist who updates the site with text provided by their in house PR staff. The artist creates the rotating banners which he then uploads onto the website along with accompanying copy.
Postbank.gov.ph is also hosted by KaijuHost using a VPS service.
Jobs done:
• Migrated the bank’s website from a non – responsive, non – dynamic html platform to a multi – user, secure and easily editable and manageable Drupal based Content Management System.
• Provisioned and laid out highly secure, backed up and resilient Virtual Private Server host for hosting the Bank’s website.
• Provided ad hoc update and upgrade services both to server and website for six years with complete documentation throughout.
• General IT Consultancy provision.
